SAVASANA MASSAGE AND BODY
A Modern, Ayurveda-inspired Boutique Spa Studio

About Me

Greetings and welcome!
My name is April Lee and I am the owner and creator of Savasana Massage and Body. (LMT #023303, LE COS-FT-10206878) I started my business in the Happy Valley area in 2019 but was forced to close due to the pandemic. I then took some time off to enjoy becoming a mom, and after a few years of slowly integrating massage back into my busy mom schedule, I finally decided it was time to reopen Savasana Massage and Body in August of 2025. Now I am responsible for a very active little boy on the weekdays and am able to pursue my passion for massage on the weekends. It's the best of both worlds!

I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2002, having graduated from the Spa Career Track at the Utah College of Massage Therapy, and am also licensed in esthetics. I am skilled in a diverse portfolio of massage therapies, ranging from Western modalities such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Craniosacral, and Medical/Injury Massage to Eastern practices including Thai, Shiatsu, Lomi Lomi, Reflexology, Ayurveda, Reiki, and Vibrational Sound Healing. I have been certified as an educator through the NCBTMB, offering continuing education for fellow practitioners, and also work with Shankara Naturals in sales and education.

Before planting roots in the Portland area in 2017, I spent many formative years in the luxury spa world of Las Vegas, Nevada. I served as the Lead Massage Therapist at the Encore Spa at Wynn Las Vegas for nearly a decade, where I had the honor of helping to develop, train, and perform a suite of world-class treatments that contributed to the spa’s prestigious Forbes Five-Star recognition. My earlier journey also included work at The Spa at Wynn Las Vegas and The Spa at the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas.

Years in these elite environments, surrounded by exceptional talent and held to the highest standards, have instilled in me an unwavering commitment to excellence. At Savasana Massage & Body, I bring that same dedication to cleanliness, quality, care, and experience—ensuring every guest receives a warm, genuine, and memorable impression.

When I’m not in the treatment room, you’ll find me spending time with my son, wandering through nature, moving my body, stimulating my mind, studying the human experience—and, of course, enjoying plenty of coffee.
